It looks like your dog has an Alert Meerkat!!
Our Self Study Courses are a great start to help your dog, giving them the skills to control their ALERT Meerkat.
Dogs with an Alert Meerkat are fantastic companions, though they can really struggle to manage themselves but get there eventually. Often those that live with dogs that have active meerkats wish they could control themselves more and respond a bit faster!
Control The Meerkat Can Help!!
For ALERT Meerkats we recommend starting with our ‘Check In Challenge’ ! This helps your dog to become more responsive to you on a walk and then you can look at our ‘Self Regulation Bundle’ and start to apply these skills to other situations like rabbits, squirrels, other dogs, or anything that makes your dogs Meerkat ‘ALERT’.
The foundation skills from our challenge and courses, plus the self management exercises in ‘If in Doubt; Chill Out’, will help your dog to learn how to calm themselves down in different situations. We have a selection of downloadable E-Books to help to build your B.A.S.E., your foundation skills, and teach your dog to self regulate.
Then you can try out ‘Check In Challenge’, to help your dog become more responsive to you on a walk. Then ‘If in Doubt; Chill Out’; will help your dog to learn how to calm themselves down in different situations. We also have an array of printable worksheets to help you record your progress
You can get these individually or gain access to all of them with membership to our community and learning empawrium for only £35 Month!
